" Calverley, Thomas [fl. 16651667], actor? Thomas Calverley was a member of the King's Company from at least as early as 8 June 1665, when his name first appeared in the Lord Chamberlain's accounts, through the 166667 season. Possibly he was an actor, though no roles are known for him.

An operetta called The Mistake of a Minute (Larpent MS 766), never published, was performed at Drury Lane on 23 April 1787. " By now, at barely 20, Callcott was recognized as a young composer and executant of extraordinary talents.
